An ECTN/BIETC/waiver for Gabon needs to be issued prior to loading of the cargo and its number transmitted to the shipping line. ECTN/BIETC/waiver requests received after shipment will be refused.

The ECTN/BIETC/waiver has to be pre-validated before the vessel departs.

Final validation of the ECTN/BIETC/waiver is submitted to following time limits, please contact us if submission exceeds these time limits:

Within 5 calendar days after shipment for loadings from Africa
Within 10 calendar days after shipment for loadings from Europe
Within 15 calendar days after shipment for all other loadings

It’s important to issue an ECTN/BIETC/waiver as cargoes arriving without valid ECTN/BIETC/waiver will be blocked for delivery by the local customs and high penalties are being charged to the shipper, receiver and shipping line.
