Sudan launches the Advance Cargo Declaration (ACD)
Advance Cargo Declaration (ACD) will be mandatory for all shipments to Sudan as of January 1, 2026
the ACD system will become mandatory on 1 January 2026 for all shipments destined for Sudan. Additionally, the ACD certificate must be obtained at the loading port, and the ACD number must be clearly stated on the Bill of Lading.
When applying for the ACD, the following documents will be required:
- Draft Bill of Lading
- Commercial Invoice
- Freight Invoice
- Certificate of Origin
- Packing List
